Welcome to Alverno Heights Academy Lower School
The Lower School at Alverno Heights Academy is an independent, progressive, Catholic transitional kindergarten (TK)-8th grade elementary and middle school for girls and boys. The school is located on the property of Alverno Heights Academy, an established college preparatory school for young women. Alverno boasts a beautiful 13-acre property, which includes this historic Villa del Sol d’Oro, brand-new soccer and softball fields, state of the art Learning Technology Center (LTC), classroom buildings, and plenty of room for expansion. The property is the former estate of Dr. Walter Jarvis Barlow and Mrs. Marion Brooks Barlow.
